Your house is not yet clean until it is dust free. But getting rid of dust may not be as easy and most people think, especially if you have a crowded house.
So here are tips you can use to dust off different parts of the house.
Electronics
Cleaning your electronic without damaging them can sometimes be hard. But with a gentle wipe with a microfiber cloth, your TVs, computers, stereos, printers and DVD players can be dustless, but before you do anything, make sure they are unplugged. A long handheld brush will also collect enough dust.
But a thorough dusting should include a vacuum cleaner and emphasize on the vents of the electronics.
Walls
The walls can accumulate a lot of dust and make your entire house look old. But a vacuum cleaner can surely do a thorough ceiling-to-floor cleaning.
But you have to be strategic in your cleaning so that you don’t end up making a mess. So start from the top and dust your way to the bottom.
Soft toys
You have to be careful when dusting your fabric dolls or teddy bears. Put then in a large plastic bag and add a cup of baking soda then take them outside. Secure the top and shake well for some time. Baking soda and static normally draws dust and soil. Pick up one doll after another as you shake off the baking soda. Use a brush attachment to vacuum the rest of the dolls.
Behind appliances
If your house is full of pests and insects, then you probably have a lot or grease, crumbs and other debris behind your appliances. But you can clean that up. Simply move the appliance away from the wall and unplug. Lift the dust from the back of these appliances with the use of a long-handled and slightly damp sponge mop.
With these tips, your house will be clean and dust free. So this means you will see no pests or smell nor odor. But if you don’t have time or find it hard to clean risky parts of the house, you can contact a local professional cleaning company and they will surely do a perfect job.
