The term “vintage” basically stands for a specific year in which something grand or of high quality was produced. If something is considered vintage then it usually means that the object or the thing is a very high-quality copy of something grand of a particular era. It usually imitates the style of that specific period. The term antique and vintage differ in the complete sense they can be actually considered opposite to a certain extent. Antique is something that is old and important in social, economic or style context and it is old refers to really old not just 10-20 years back. Vintage is just a copy of the style of that era whereas antique is really of that era.

Since fans are really old machine and have an old and rich history in terms of development and evolution in machinery and design, thus it is taken that there have been vast design changes and there are people who still want to go with the older designs and there are people who want to give their place a specific look after a definite era and due to that there are many fans with the vintage design and styles.   • Alsace Caged Fan (Reclaimed Wood Finish): the fan is excellent choice for small spaces. The blades along with the machinery is caged inside a steel frame. The fan includes a 75-watt lighting system. The fan has a vintage wood finish. The device does seem to be of another era in its appearance hence the vintage tag. The device comes with a remote-control unit and has a warranty of 5 years. The device has all the accessories required for mounting and it has the lighting unit of halogen type.
  • Skyy wall mount fan: the fan has a complete steel structure in means of the cage and the external machine cage or the casing. The fan has two blade-mechanism for providing the airflow which is rather old fashioned. The fan has a mid-century look and comes with a 5-year warranty.

It is available in oil rubbed bronze, brushed nickel wet and galvanised looks. The device comes with a lighting kit with halogen lights ranging from 1-100 watts.
