Traditionally when someone mentions training in a trade, you automatically think of working on-site in a hands-on environment. However the world has changed in the last 12 months, there has been a dramatic shift towards learning from home. With this shift, we are seeing more and more people consider their career and looking for alternatives. This combined with the changing job market, there is a return focusing on traditional trades, which hold their value and remains hugely desirable to employers across the world.

Lockdowns and socially distancing has changed the way in which everyone is learning new skills and training towards qualifications. Remote learning has changed classrooms forever and with the power of technology, it is now possible to learn your trade from the comfort of your own home. Obviously, there will always be the need for practising these skills in a functional manner however it is now possible to do more online. There is the opportunity to enhance your skillset and develop your career in a way that has not been available before. With on-demand learning, you have the ability to learn from wherever you are whenever it suits you. This has proven to be hugely popular with people looking to learn whilst fitting around their existing commitments.

Online courses in trades is a market that has exploded over the last year with more and more colleges offering the chance to learn from your home. This new market is being welcomed with open arms by many, giving them the opportunity that they did not have before. Remote learning is a new and developing industry with advancements being made daily in its effectiveness and methods. With recorded lectures and workshops being more widely available alongside the way in which you are able to engage with these lessons constantly improving.

One such business that has excelled in this field is the Trades College. With its unique set up, it has adapted to socially distanced learning immediately. Whilst also offering a full COVID secure training facility that enables them to hone their newly acquired skills in a practical environment.
