Consider these 5 factors
How Much Are You Willing To Spend?
It does not matter how much money you spend on furniture. The most you’ll get out of your money is if you’re smart about your options. If you really wish to stretch your budget, look at the materials the garden furniture is made of, its versatility, and how often you intend to use it.
Which Use Will You Make Of Your Garden Furniture?
Do you want to relax, eat, or do both? How many people will you be able to accommodate, or will you be limited to a few? Is there an option for additional seating? With this information, you can determine whether you need benches and chairs for your garden, coffee and dining tables, or all of them!
What Will Become Of The Garden Furniture?
Storage is made easier with stackable outdoor dining chairs, as they’ll take up far less space than if they were kept separately. Sturdy, lightweight tables make for convenient storage as they’re easy to store. You can protect your furniture through winter with a garden cover if indoor storage is not possible.
Are The Garden Furnitures Difficult To Maintain?
Fabrics should be tested for UV protection and for shower-proofing, and metal frames should have anti-rust properties. By doing this, you can make sure the furniture will stand up to outdoor use. For easy cleaning and storage, it is also important to have removable cushions and covers.
Are You Comfortable?
Garden seating is a true extension of your home, which is why we believe that it should resemble an extension of your home. There are comfortable sofas and seats inside, so why aren’t there comfortable ones outside? You should check not only the materials, fabrics, and construction of the cushion, but also the size and shape to ensure it is suitable for the space you have.

Size & Materials of Garden Furniture
The way you sit around a table inside may differ from how you sit in your garden. You don’t tend to sit elbow to elbow outside, so it’s normal to seat 8 people around a four-seater table. You can be more generous with seating and spacing in the garden because it is a more casual setting.
Chairs In The Garden
The ideal height for a lumbar support garden chair is 30cm to 40cm in height, similar to a dining chair.
It is recommended that the top of the seat of an average dining chair should be 26cm to 30cm above the top of the dining table. Your chair will fit under a standard height table if it has a height between 46cm and 51cm from floor to top of seat.
The spacing of your garden armchairs may need to be double checked if you opt for them. In order for the table top to tuck in (if you prefer this look), you’ll need to make sure it is thick enough to take up the arm space on the chair.
Remember to check the chair’s footprint to make sure it is wide enough for you. Whether the feet will sit alongside the table is determined by where they are positioned.
Ensure your dining chairs are made from outdoor-appropriate material. Check, for instance, how UV-protected and show proof the bench cushions and fabrics are, and if the metal frame is anti-rust.
Shape – arm chairs provide more comfort and support while chairs with slightly curved backs will allow you to truly relax when seated.
Are the chairs stackable or foldable? Both of these features make them more space-efficient when it comes to storage. Stacking the chairs also prevents them from flying around the garden in the heat of summer.
