Women tend to spend more time cleaning than men. For some of you, this is no doubt unsurprising. Women tend to clean for longer, with more women than men cleaning at all. Of course, not everyone fits into this mold, but consider how much time you’re spending running around the house with your vacuum when you pick it up next.
Many people, of both genders, don’t clean though because it’s generally a repetitive, boring, and perhaps inevitable task. You’ve probably heard someone say, “It’ll just get dirty again, anyway, right?” at some point in your life. While that may be true, cleaning the home is a great way to spend some time when you need to unwind, clear your head, or feel more physically fit. Yes, cleaning can help you when it comes to losing weight. Grab your scrub brush and give it everything you’ve got, regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman.
Where should you clean first though? This is what tends to stop a lot of people in their tracks. There feels like so much to do and so many places to clean that it’ll take forever to get everywhere. It’s daunting when you think of your whole home as one unit, so instead, consider the dirtiest areas in your house. Here’s a little hint: the dirtiest place probably isn’t what you’re thinking of. There are actually four areas in your home that need special attention and are the perfect place to start the daunting task of cleaning. After you clean those places up, the rest of your house will hopefully be easy by comparison.
